The Stein Atkinson Stordy (SAS) model revolves around its UK based Design and Technology centre. The centre specialises in the design of thermal and vacuum equipment  for the Glass and Solar industries.

The SAS thermal and mechanical design team is complemented by a team of systems engineers who provide controlled systems to suit the varying needs of the SAS customer base.

SAS has two manufacturing bases: SAS Thermal Manufacturing UK and SAS Thermal Manufacturing India. Both manufacturing operations supply to the group design division and also directly to the open market.
